We all know that finding the perfect foundation can be pretty difficult especially when we all have different skin types and therefor, different needs as well. Today I will be talking about a foundation I think many of you will really like, this foundation is the Maybelline Dream Velvet Foundation. The back of the foundation tube says the following: "Fresh, new, and flawless... Dream Velvet whips a fresh gel into a velvet-soft texture. Complexion is perfected and smooth with a soft-matte finish, just like velvet. Skin feels fresh with lasting hydration".
Dreamers, I have to say I totally agree with the description of this product. I think it is absolutely amazing and here's why. First of all, the name of the product has the word "DREAM" in it, so that immediately is a plus (lol).. but in all seriousness as soon as I applied this foundation on my skin I was shocked because it felt like I was applying a lightweight moisturizer on my face. I quickly noticed how smooth, lightweight, and hydrating it really was. I apply my foundation with a beauty blender in case you were wondering. Anyways, It looks matte when you apply it but it does not feel drying on the face and it doesn't cling on to dry patches either. I had been going to the beach often because of Spring Break and the fact that my skin wasn't in great condition and you couldn't tell one bit while I had this foundation on was AWESOME! At that point I already knew this foundation was a winner. The coverage is medium to full because I was able to build it up nicely without making my face look cakey or heavy. Another plus for me was that it is very long-lasting, it did not disappear on my nose or cheek areas like other foundations tend to. I get pretty greasy in my T-zone area and with this foundation my face would really hold up, I blotted maybe once, but it felt so good not having to check up on my face every hour to see if I needed to retouch my makeup. I'm in love with this Dream Velvet foundation from Maybelline and I really think it would be great for all skin-types. Let me know if you try it.

P.S. I found it at Walgreens and I am in the color 75 Natural Beige in case you think you could be the same color as me. Hope that helps.
I have to share the amazing affordable liquid lipsticks that have stolen my heart and made me fall in love with liquid lipsticks all over again. I saw that lots of people on Instagram were raving about the NYX Lingerie liquid lipsticks, so I had to find out why they were so obsessed with them. I clearly know why after trying them out, so I thought I would share how amazing they are so you can go ahead and become addicted to them as well. YOU'RE WELCOME! :)
So lets start with the applicator, which I love, it is long, thin and since it has a little bit of a tip it makes it easier for you to fill in the edges of your lips without making a huge mess or having to start all over. The pigmentation is absolutely amazing, you can get away with just one layer but since I'm a little OCD about my lipstick I like doing two layers just to be sure. I like to wait for the first layer to dry before applying the next one, it has worked out well so far for me. Now that we are talking about layering our liquid lipsticks I want to say that it is so easy to layer the NYX Lingerie liquid lipsticks and normally layering this type of product is a pain in my... *you know what*! It does not look or feel flaky on the lips when you layer it on and also, it does not feel super heavy or drying on the lips either. Sometimes I even forget I have it on (lol). These liquid lipsticks are long lasting let me tell you, I ate from hamburgers to tacos in these and it would stay on like a real trooper. The most that would happen was just a little bit of fading in the inner part of the mouth but nothing anyone could notice (very minimal). I would re-apply maybe once in the day, but sometimes I wouldn't re-apply at all to be honest. So overall: the formula is smooth, drys to matte pretty quick, good for layering, and I LOVE IT. <3 I really recommend the NYX Lingerie liquid lipsticks and the fact that they are so affordable and such good quality gives me no doubt.
I purchased my NYX Lingerie liquid lipsticks at www.ulta.com ! Happy shopping !
HOPE THIS HELPS ! Tag me if you buy them.

Today I am will be sharing my thoughts on L'oreal Paris True Match Lumi Cushion, after testing it out for over a week. Remember these are all my personal thoughts and what may or may not work for me could be a totally different story for you because we all have different skin types. To start off I want to write about the coverage of this foundation, which I consider to be a light to medium coverage. This foundation is buildable but not enough to fully cover any blemishes or beauty marks such as freckles or anything similar. My cheeks are my problem area, a have scarring and most of the time I have blemishes as well, and it slightly covered it up. You could still seem them peeking through a bit, but I don't really mind that when its daytime. When its nighttime it is a whole different story, I prefer full coverage. The first time I applied this foundation I noticed it felt kind of tacky and it was driving me insane, so I had to set my whole face lightly with some powder. Something I did not like about this foundation is the fact that it settled horribly in my fine lines, after I even tried "baking" where I knew it was creasing but nothing really changed. So if that drives you crazy like it does for me I really do not recommend this foundation. Another issue I had with this foundation is the fact that it just would not stay on my nose area, it slided off like butter, so that sucked badly for me. :( I will keep using it during the daytime because it is good for a more natural look but I honestly don't think I will be repurchasing it. I really wanted to fall in love with this foundation because I think that the natural / dewy skin trend is SO beautiful but it did not work for me. So again, this foundation has its pros and cons but just because it didn't work for me doesn't mean that it can't work for you. I do believe this foundation would work great for people with really dry skin, I go back and forth with oily to normal skin.
Hope you dreamers liked this review and helped you if you were thinking about purchasing this foundation.
