Today I am will be sharing my thoughts on L'oreal Paris True Match Lumi Cushion, after testing it out for over a week. Remember these are all my personal thoughts and what may or may not work for me could be a totally different story for you because we all have different skin types. To start off I want to write about the coverage of this foundation, which I consider to be a light to medium coverage. This foundation is buildable but not enough to fully cover any blemishes or beauty marks such as freckles or anything similar. My cheeks are my problem area, a have scarring and most of the time I have blemishes as well, and it slightly covered it up. You could still seem them peeking through a bit, but I don't really mind that when its daytime. When its nighttime it is a whole different story, I prefer full coverage. The first time I applied this foundation I noticed it felt kind of tacky and it was driving me insane, so I had to set my whole face lightly with some powder. Something I did not like about this foundation is the fact that it settled horribly in my fine lines, after I even tried "baking" where I knew it was creasing but nothing really changed. So if that drives you crazy like it does for me I really do not recommend this foundation. Another issue I had with this foundation is the fact that it just would not stay on my nose area, it slided off like butter, so that sucked badly for me. :( I will keep using it during the daytime because it is good for a more natural look but I honestly don't think I will be repurchasing it. I really wanted to fall in love with this foundation because I think that the natural / dewy skin trend is SO beautiful but it did not work for me. So again, this foundation has its pros and cons but just because it didn't work for me doesn't mean that it can't work for you. I do believe this foundation would work great for people with really dry skin, I go back and forth with oily to normal skin.
Hope you dreamers liked this review and helped you if you were thinking about purchasing this foundation.
